March 6th, I received a text message from my brother saying "It's been cold summer nights..." So, I thought, he was just having yet another episode of what he called birthday blues. He celebrated his 30th birthday yesterday. But then he said, "it's gonna be cold summer nights, patay na si Francis M. (Francis M. is dead)."Francis M. is the Philippines' Master Rapper. And the local music industry is definitely saddened by the news of his death. Click here for more info about him.
I am no big fan, but having grown to his music when I was a teen, I would admit that I myself was saddened by his loss to his battle of leukemia. And today, as his family lay his cremated body together with his parents’, I join everyone in praying that his soul may rest in peace.
