Yesterday, we were informed that a friend can't join us in our valentine date. I got the news through a text message. Not knowing how to react, or should I say, I don't know if I should tell her how I truly feel about it, I just kept silent, didn't send a reply.
I would like to believe that we have set that early get-together for her. Had it not for her, we could have planned it at a later date, in a better place. But then again, no one knows this would happen. She has compelling reasons not to join us. And because we have already made our reservations, the outing will push through as planned. We will still have the best of fun, wishing however, that she could still be with us.
